Kate’s love of writing came out of her life-long love for reading. Long stormy days and nights in Wisconsin lent themselves for curling up in a warm blanket with a good book. After moving to California, her reading locations changed to sitting under a beach umbrella, or relaxing at the edge of a pool dangling her feet in the water.

When Kate isn’t working on her novels, she loves reading, enjoys listening to music, and playing the piano. Her love of horses inspired her to include them in the Breathtakingtrilogy: Every Breath She Takes, Catching Her Breath, and coming soon, Taking Her Breath Away.
