Bridget has always had a problem controlling her ice powers. All is going well until, faced with a bully, her boyfriend breaking up with her, and a math test she needed to pass, Bridget loses control, killing several of her classmates.

Her Mother, not able to afford a good lawyer to defend her daughter, is forced to accept the aid of Mister Firestorm, the richest man in Haven who may, or may not, be a danger to the city.

Her Godmother, Katherine, leaves Haven to open a security company in Philadelphia when she finds out Bridget’s mother is working with Firestorm. She knows him and knows he has at least one murderer working for him.

Her best friend, Rosalyn, has been kidnapped by the mad robot Destructo who wants to use the young girl’s hyper intelligent powers to build him a body so he can take over the world by replacing people with robots.

If Bridget’s friends and family can’t come together to rescue Rosalyn from Destructo the city and the world will never be the same again.
